Make a copy the /palmone/username/backup folder 2. Make backup of old unit to SD card (I use TealBackup to make backup of o= ld unit). 3. Hard reset the new unit (hold power button while pushing the reset butto= n on back) 4. Restore the SC Card backup 5. Sync with HH over writes PC Alternately, if you don't use an SD card to back up: 1. Make a copy the /palmone/username/backup folder 2. Hard reset the new unit (hold power button while pushing the reset butto= n on back) 3. Sync as normal 4. Check that categories were transferred in all native palm databases, i.e= . calendar, memo, tasks, contacts... (may need to create the categories man= ually and resync). 5. Sync again to make sure and check categories again...
