I recently bought a Palm M-500 handheld (new) to replace my older Palm M-150. It came bundled with Aceeca software. I have followed all their instructions to the letter, at least two dozen times now, but I can't get the handheld to HotSync with my PC, which has a 64-bit Windows 7 OS. I did get it to work (accidentally) for about a week using the Windows installer with a real Palm driver, but that has stopped and I can't get it to work again. I opened a ticket with Aceeca for help, but they replied: "Unfortunately we are unable to provide support for non-Aceeca customers. Please note that the 64bit driver was written by us with the sole intention for use with Aceeca manufactured handhelds. Whilst many non-Aceeca handheld owners have had success using our driver, we cannot guarantee in any way it will work for all Palm devices and users. All I can suggest is that you try some of the many Palm forums for help." So I can't get any help from them. Does anyone know of a Palm forum? I've downloaded and tried the hotsync program put out by Pimlico (http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/palmhotsyncsetup.exe) but that doesn't seem to do anything. Is there any way I can get my M-500 to hotsync with Windows 7? I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
