My understanding is that the USB cradle or sync cable is the thing that no
longer is reliable in W7

I found an old serial cradle and that seems to do the trick (albeit
slowly).  A daily sync is bearable but a full backup/restore is SLOOOOW.

I am running the Palm Desktop on Win 7 without any problems.=C2=A0 I
tried Pimlical and it just didn&#39;t work for me.=C2=A0 I am bought
