As long as there is not a lock next to it, the network is open and unsecured. You just highlight the one you want and click next. For secure networks, it will give you a chance to enter the wep key (it does not seem to support wpa.) Once a network is set up, it will try to connect to it in the same order as shown on this screen. I thought it was simplier to set up than connecting to wifi with my laptop.
