Small pieces of paper (even when done with 3x5 cardstock) don't work particularly well for me, because I tend to be seriously paper-challenged.  However, back in the '80s I did the S.H.E. thing with cards and a shoebox, then moved on to FlyLady and the Control Journal in sheet protectors.  I was "with" FlyLady the first year she got started -- back when there were few enough of us that she could / would write back.  Some of my e-mails back-and-forth to her ended up in her first book as shared tips <vbg>.  

 

When I first got my PalmPilot, I put the Control Journal's repeating daily / weekly / zone lists on HandyShopper.  I absolutely LOVED having the lists there.  Around the same time, I thought it was interesting that FlyLady was adamant about never ever putting our Control Journals on Palm Pilots or the like.  As I recall, her reasoning was that she had tried it once and it was too confusing or too overwhelming for her (Something like that).  

 

Whatever we do to organize ourselves has to work for us. My previous Palm crashed and burned and I didn't get my lists back on this one.  Nice conversation here -- it'll get me thinking about doing some more personalizing on my Palm.
