I use a TX, and have two backup TXs for when/if anything goes wrong with the one I use.  I highly recommend looking on ebay for Chris Short's Palm Store.  The store is called "itsnothere" and can easily be found by searching the site for "refurbished palm tx".  He also sells other models of palm devices as well.

Chris refurbishes the devices to a much better than new state.  He updates the on/off switch, adds an improved screen, includes a voice recorder, and makes several other preventitive fixes to common problems on TXs.

A google search on "Chris Short palm repair" will turn up several recommendations for his services.  He might even be able to repair your old Visor Pro.

Regards,
Dwight...

Subject: [GtD_Palm] Replacement for Handspring Visor Pro

I bought a Visor Pro years ago, and use it mostly to GTD.  I like this little PDA.  I am not really a power user, so I find the native apps pretty useful for the way I GTD.

I really like Graffiti.  I prefer to write rather than poke a virtual QWERTY keyboard, so it works great for me.  As this machine is starting to show its age, I want to look forward a little.  When it comes time to replace, I am game to go with another Visor Pro, but reading up on the TX and so forth, I like the other bells and whistles (Color, sound, wifi) that might be available.

What kind of Palm should I look for that is updated, yet allows me to continue with Graffiti?

Thanks,
Stan
