If the older palm system and a separate phone works for you, I would just
get another palm from the refurbish guy on ebay.

Having moved to a Treo centro and Vista, old Palm desktop was NOT the same
on Vista, so I had to eventually buy Agendus.  The screen is much smaller,
the experience just isn't the same.

If you are ready to move on anyway, try a Treo. If you don't have vista, the
desktop is the same and you can go on just as you have been with no learning
curve at all.
