Hot Sync Version on TX or Life Drive

Hi
I have been looking at Essential PIM Pro to synchronise with my Palm T3. I believe that you need HotSync version 6.00 and my T3 uses HotSync version 5.0P. So does either the TX or Life Drive use HotSync 6.0 or greater?

Essential PIM Pro does work with Pocket PC software but I really don't want to go down that route.
