they actually gave me the rights to continue development and the full source code.  so if you need a copy, let me know off-line.  unfortunately though, with the demise of my palm pda and the lack of foresight from palm on the webos, i haven't devoted much time at all to updating notestudio.  if there was interest from other developers, it would be nice to join forces and maybe get some updates released.  i know people are clamoring for vista compatibility and a good winmo client.
