I will keep this message and review most of your links shortly, but I wanted to point out that I believe many if not most Palm users are to a degree techies that enjoy new tech but are still practical because they need to get things done. And since Natara, a long time major Palm OS player is announcing that they feel the Palm OS is doomed, I think most of us suspect that we are going to have to jump ship in the near future and will consider even painful transitions if that's what we have to do to properly prepare for the future. So we congregate gathering info from a great collection of knowledgeable folks to consider all directions before we invest what might be a several dollars but a also lot of time... I would consider doing nothing but my phone carrier was bought out and I must choose another phone by Dec. I may upgrade just enough to not break tethering with my T3. And I may burn all bridges and go with an iPhone. Don't know yet... So please keep the ideas coming! Thanks!
