Palm phone suggestions

My wife has a phone with Rogers Canada and has to get a replacement  for the terrible phone they gave her when she extended her contract.

I'm considering if she should get a Palm phone

Her phone needs are basic, but right now she has a Palm TX and a separate phone. She uses several palm apps.

The crucial think is that we use DataBk6, I update her schedule/calendar on my Palm during the day and then manually beam the updates to her Palm each evening. Are the Palm phones equivalent in use to a standard  Palm - does grafitti work the same way etc.  and how do I decide which one?

Personally I find it better to have a separate phone and palm, I have no idea how you talk to someone and enter data at the same time if you only have one device.
