TX Sync error message, Lost Categories and Win 7 Syncing

Greetings,

As palm runs out of steam, I am still using my TX and Centro.  I have backups for each device and I can't see changing anytime soon; however, I have three issues that hopefully someone here can help with:

First, I am frequently getting an error message after syncing my TX that states "some handheld records were not copied to desktop. DT 3951, HH 3959". Does anyone know why this is happening and is there a fix? I can't find any records that are missing and if I just sync again the message goes away.

Second, I recently did a hard reset on my TX and I lost all categories in the
native palm applications. does anyone know how to prevent this in the future and/or how to get the categories back?

Third, does anyone have any success using Windows 7 and Palm Desktop 4.2 or below to sync palm devices with the desktop or with Outlook?
