I understand but just replacing the screen shouldn't be too involved.  I don't 
want to encourage you to ruin your Treo. But a cracked screen is not something 
I'd want to live with. I'd do it on mine...

are very similar.  My first one (the one I repaired) was a 650.  DD is still 
using it.

Thanks.  I've noticed some links like that without looking closely.  The last 
time I opened an old Treo to see if I could fix the audio jack, I ended up with 
a lump of non-viable electronics, so I'm a little hesitant these days.  :-)
