I understand but just replacing the screen shouldn't be too involved. I don't want to encourage you to ruin your Treo. But a cracked screen is not something I'd want to live with. I'd do it on mine... Here's one it's for a 650 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZSY1rCjs68 but they are very similar. My first one (the one I repaired) was a 650. DD is still using it. Here's a 755p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9p1CqviqW4 And here's another one with info to buy the screen as well. http://www.directfix.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PA2076&Category_Code=CS Carla ________________________________ From: davidekaufman <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, July 27, 2010 3:26:59 PM Subject: Re: [HS] How to get back to main screen with no touchscreen capability Thanks. I've noticed some links like that without looking closely. The last time I opened an old Treo to see if I could fix the audio jack, I ended up with a lump of non-viable electronics, so I'm a little hesitant these days. :-) --- In [email protected], Carla <sewitseams2me@...> wrote: > > Dave, > I can't answer your question but you can order parts and replace your screen on > > your Treo.
