[HS] Some databases I use

I will list some databases I use a lot.  I have many databases on my Palm device. Names are in upper case.


BILLS – this is to track my bills and when they are due.  I have as stores: homebanking, check, mom, and some other accounts.  I have a list of ones I can pay by homebanking and I also have the ones that need to be mailed (check).  I can put on alarms, and when I log onto the bank site I can quickly check which payments I need to make.  I use the concerto alarm for bill reminders.  
 
I also have a store to track deposits and one for the closing dates of the credit cards.  If you charge the day before it closes you get the bill soon.  The day after it closes you get a lot more time to pay.
 
COMCAST – This is a list of the cable channels and the aisle is the channel on the cable box.  If I write sports, I get ESPN and other sports channels.  It is convenient to have with my Palm, plus I put HD in the note for the HD channels so I can filter those by writing HD.  
 
PICTURE GUIDE – This one the description is Nik100205 (Nikon February 5, 2010) company picnic.  Then in the note I add specific descriptors like Frisbee, softball, Jones, Amato, Williams, Greene, etc.  I can find the pictures and I put the images on my hard drive (and DVD backups) in directories by the date i.e. Nik100205.  I am often able to find the images when I need them. 
 
REMINDER – I keep appointments that I don’t want on my calendar.  For example my son’s dental appointment.  If I put it on my calendar then it would block meetings.  This way I can get an alarm and reminder without filling my calendar.  I also put on things that are less important:  parties, festivals, concerts, sales, etc.  
 
That is enough for now.  Other databases include Packing List, Websites, Order-Wait, Books, Computer backup, Vehicles, People, Agenda, Checklist, etc.  
I am sure that many others have very useful databases.
