Chris, thanks for your continuing interest and assistance. I don't know how you do it. I've uploaded my Shopping db to Files as you requested. I'm using HSv3.2 build 6516. I've eliminated duplicate items from my Shopping db and now use Multiple Stores. The two stores I use for grocery shopping are Ingles and Fresh Market. 1. Menu-Tools-Options selections are: -Database: per store prices and aisles is check-marked -Sort: Sort View is set on Need, Sort By is set on Aisle 2. Today I want to shop at Ingles, so I've chosen Ingles from the list of stores. 3. Menu-View is set on Need. 4. Of the 8 items I need, only two are showing aisle numbers, Cole Slaw and Milk. 5. If I select any of the needed items and go to Menu-Details-Stores, the aisle numbers for both Fresh Market and Ingles are there (Ingles in Unfiled as you have indicated in the past it should be when Ingles is the store I'm shopping in) 6. If I uncheck per store prices and aisles, all the aisle numbers show up for Ingles, but are not sorted by aisle. The sort is neither by Item nor by Aisle and appears to be random. Hope this explains my dilemma. Why have two? HS is designed to have one, and if you care about tracking aisles on a per-store basis then enable the Per Store Prices and Aisles feature, and enter price/aisle on a per-store basis. > > Then when you're compiling your shopping list for Store B you'd choose Store B from the Stores dropdown to filter the list, and then you'd only see one Milk, and you'd see the aisle for Store B. > > 1 item can be associated with 100 different stores... > > > --- In [email protected], "billszerlip" <billszerlip@> wrote: > > > > Still having problems. In Store A, some items show aisle numbers, others don't although they're all entered the same way (i.e., multiple stores with aisle numbers for each store entered separately). Also Sort is set by aisle but is not sorting by aisle. Tried turning per-store prices and aisles on and off. When it's off, the aisle numbers show up for Store A but the Sort still isn't working.
