[HS] Search in 3.2b6516

I have a question about the search function in version 3.2 build 6516.  When I start typing, the search window comes up as I expect.  However, when I type the carriage return, the search stays up.  I sort of expected the carriage return to terminate the search feature and return focus to the list of items that were found.

Is there something that terminates the search but leaves the found items up?  The reason I ask is because I've discovered a nice side effect of the search function when using my barcode scanner.  I can put barcode text into the custom text field and when I scan an item, the search automatically pops up (scanner starts "typing") and I get to the item fast.  But I'd like to have the focus return to the list so I can check the item off.


I'm somewhat liking the latest version although the latest version does not like my small screen (iPaq 2215).  Took me a minute to figure out that I could scroll some of the setting screens to get to settings that were off-screen.
