Is this man even a member of the HandyShopper Group? I am truly upset about this, and, of course, have not responded to Mr. Ontjes and will not. >My first clue that something was not right about the response is that it is not in the Yahoogroup message files for HandyShopper. > > This should have been a private message to the group owner, not public. Since the public has seen the question, they might as well see my answer. First off, while I don't know what addresses you want to get mail to, this is the one you're sending from which everyone on the group can see when you post: [email protected] Secondly, no one here has any control over what address(es) you have subscribed with Yahoo. Only you do. There are a number of possibilities as to why things are not what you thought they were, but they are all between you and your Yahoo account. Were you aware that a single Yahoo Groups account can have a dozen different email addresses, and every group you are on can be sent to a different address in your account? Are you aware that Yahoo can be really messed up sometimes, and do really stupid things that neither you nor I have any control over whatsoever? I'm sorry that you're upset that someone replied to one of your messages privately on an account you weren't expecting to get the reply to. I hope that you are able to figure out what the problem is so that you can avoid it happening in the future. Thanks! -Greg
