Yeah, I still use mine. We shall see if AndShoBBer is a worthy 
replacement. I don't carry both devices, though. When I need my 
HandyShopper on me, I use my Wrist PDA. :)

Yes. Such a feature only requires a software developer to include it. 
Many apps use bar code scanning already, and phones that don't come with 
a scanner can get free ones that are popularly used by other developers 
as a helper app.
