It was over appropriate to call it 'preview'........

It works OK, but, when I try to run it n-th time, it often fails to start, gives black screen.

It comes with back-level  HS pre-installed, HS 2.9b, and, Filez

Yes, copy them to A device, use Filez to move from A to Palm internal.

When I copied a hs  pdb, HS on A told me files made with newer HS, so I need to upload current hs to A

Preview edition, great promise, but, not yet ready for prime time

Also, had issues with the tool for installing PDBs to A

But it's very cute idea, the actual app seems to work very well,  it's certainly well worth trying.

I 'developed' some additional issues that prevented me from getting further, for some reason, Xoom wouldn't connect to the laptop I was trying to use, making it hard for me to transfer more stuff to A, and, I didn't have access to another PC at the time.

Kathleen, did you ever get solid black screen after starting Palm/A for subsequent start?
