I so agree... that's exactly how I used HandyShopper also.

Put in the things I buy regularly into a smartphone DB records in 
extremely compact form (many items per screen), link them to the store's 
DB that sell them, pull up the store i am at and buy those items.  
Various sorts/ configuration, aisle by aisle arrangement,  and pricing 
also good

It's surprising to me that apps developers don't get the essence of what 
people want out of a shopping app ... as demonstrated by HandyShoppers 
die-hard advocates.   Function, function, function.  For shoppers, not 
analysts and glossy screenshots...

Seems to me that a DB coder would have by now just replicated 
HandiShopper's extremely practical no gloss DB functionalities for the 
more recent smartphones and inherited an instant clientele...

What's better than success and instant business?   A glossy app that 
serves only a few slim purposes badly, 8 items etc per screen ...?
