The replacement I use is Grocery Gadget by Flixoft. It doesn't appear to 
be set up like Handyshopper at first glance, but I think I have it set 
up pretty close. I'm wondering if you tried this one.

It has a master list of items, which keep aisle and store info, and 
those items can be added to multiple lists, such as Groceries; it's set 
up so that when you want to prepare for shopping, you pick your list 
(i.e. Groceries), then start going down the items and adding quantities 
(via + and - buttons). When you're ready to shop, you pick a store out 
of a dialog box (which only shows stores that are linked to the items in 
your list). You can sort by alphabetical order or by aisles, or by 
categories if you elect not to customize the aisles for a particular store.

In my case, I have the aisles customized for the grocery store I shop at 
most often, but not for the ones I sometimes shop at instead; when I 
shop at the others, I just sort by categories (such as Dairy, Meats, 
Produce) instead. There are default items that come with the program, 
and default categories, but you can add your own categories and items. I 
was also able to add my Handyshopper items to my master list by 
converting it to CSV and then editing the CSV file to the import 
specifications of Grocery Gadget. It wasn't a painless process, but it 
wasn't that bad either.

The killer feature for me is the website synchronization; if I want to 
add a ton of new items at once, I can do it via the website instead of 
on my phone, and even better, my husband and I can go to different 
sections of the store with the same list and have it update when we 
check things off.

It has some coupon features and pricing features as well, but I haven't 
figured out how to use the coupon feature the same way I used it in 
Handyshopper (where I sorted by coupon expiration date) and I never 
really used the pricing features of Handyshopper to compare. I know you 
can scan barcodes of items to enter them into Grocery Gadget, and I 
believe that might also add price info; I haven't tried it. Grocery 
Gadget has a line for brand of item, so you can add the same item twice 
and assign two different brands to it, but the brand doesn't show up in 
the list, only in the individual item.
