I know I'm late to this discussion, but fwiw:
I replaced my aging T3, with an iPod Touch a couple of years ago. I
found that Grocery Gadget was the closest I could find in the iOS
world to Handy Shopper, at least for me. Over the years it has gotten
better at differentiating aisle/price info in regards to which store
your are shopping in. A recent upgrade allows you to even sort your
'preparation' list by store as well.
