icons different resolutions?

I'm looking for help.  I think my icons are in different resolutions.

I have an icon set which I use for Datebk6.  When I selected the icon set for pimlical not all of the icons showed up.  When imported the set is separated into different folders - 4 bit D72; 8 bit D72; 8 bit D144 and 16 bit D144.  Using explorer the 4 bit has 5 graphics (all of which I use).  The 8 bit D72 has some of the icons I use but not all of them.  8 bit D144 has more of them but is missing some, the numbers showing that icons are missing. 16 bit D144 has 6 icons 5 are ones that I use and are missing in the 8 bit D144.  Is there someway to get all the icons that I use so they will be in the same folder when sorted?  If I need to change something about an icon, how do I do that?  

I don't know what I did when I created the icons to make the change.

When I tap on the icon view screen on the graphic in the upper right hand corner it shows 8 columns of icons or bullets.  The second column from the left  has the icons I use.  A few are in the first (far left column) and at least one is in the 6th/7th column.  I assume this is the problem.

Can someone please help?
