Hi everyone,
=A0
When my Centro finally passed on, I thought I was going to go with it.=A0 T=
hat phone made my life so much easier to manage.=A0 I'd been using Palm OS =
devices for 10 years prior, and had 10 years of personal data stored in tho=
se things.=A0 The combination of the phone with the PDA in the Centro was j=
ust awesome.
=A0
Since Palm was heading out the door, I went to iPhone.=A0 I do really like =
my iPhone, but it's not nearly as straight-forward as our old Centros were.=
=A0 The thing I really, really=A0loved about Centro/Palm OS was the integra=
tion of those 4 basic PIM categories: calendar, contacts, tasks and memos.=
=A0 And that all of those categories were in ONE basic, no-frills, SIMPLE, =
user-friendly place on my desktop computer--easier to manage.=A0 (Oh, how I=
 miss Palm Desktop!)

I used DateBk6 and IconMgr, and I could manage my life and data so well wit=
h that.=A0 It was simple, effective,=A0quick, didn't need a lot of technica=
l know-how (which I am deficient at), didn't require a lot of time (and I d=
on't have much--I work part-time and I homeschool two very, VERY small chil=
dren.)
=A0
The iOS to-dos/reminders are a pain in the butt.=A0 I can't get them to syn=
c with my Google nor my Yahoo account, no matter how many articles I tried.=
=A0 My Google AND Yahoo *say* they are syncing with my memos, but I can't s=
eem to get them to work to save my life.=A0 I've tried Toodledo, Pocket Inf=
ormant, the standard Memos app in iPhone...nothing is working and I'm havin=
g a hard time sitting down and re-learning some of these.=A0 The technology=
and social networking is getting away from me.=A0 I don't want to pay a mo=
nthly fee for a calendar and/or planning service (again--I'm not a big-time=
 business exec, I'm a homeschool mom with a minivan and a budget.)=A0 I als=
o manage a lot of little things for my husband's small business as well, an=
d I'm SO missing the seamless integration of tasks that Datebk6 and IconMgr=
 assisted me with.
=A0
Can anyone help me?=A0 I don't mind using 4 different sites/services for th=
e old PIC categories, I don't mind paying for software or apps;=A0but I jus=
t don't want to pay a monthly fee until I die for time management software.=
=A0=20
=A0
Thank you so much for your time, have a wonderful weekend.

Becky
