Importing Icons

I have icons I've developed using PhotoShop on a Mac (OS 10.2.8) and
saving as BMP.  I can't get them onto my Palm, the sync program
changed them to jpgs.  Changing them to IMBMP didn't help, ti just
added .jpg to that.  I've looked at Icon PRC, but that does not seem
to be for the Mac.  Any ideas?
