Two things to think about:
Look on the Sony TH55 on your Datebk5 to see if IT is set to track by
resource ID. To do this go to preferences and tap again on any thing on
the top bar.. I hope I am remembering this correctly.. and you should
come to something called "Advanced Preferences" in which either there,
or my tapping on the silk screen menu button you will find "Track Icons
by Resource ID". If it IS checked, then find the same place on the Palm
TX and check it also. If it is NOT checked on the Sony there is probably
a different problem.

Another thought that I just realized when typing the above answer, did
you "sonyize" your icons in Icon Manager? That might make a problem.

Best thought: Post this to the pimlicodatebk yahoo group.. there are a
bunch of people there using all kinds of Palm hardware who will be able
to help you better than I can..

Also you might want to consider upgrading to Datebk6 -- great program.
