Barbara, I also have the same problem with html, I think with outlook though once I send in plain text to someone it will remember and always send in plain text. I think there is also a setting if you put the group in as a contact you can check the box always send to this contact in plain text. That is if you are using outlook. Anyway it doesn't bother me I typically only download enough of the emails to miss the garbage at the end anyway.
