I was amused when I encountered Palm OS hacks, and realized the similarity to MS-DOS TSRs. Supposedly, there is a new open source version of TCPMP called BetaPlayer in development, but that's been the case for quite some time now. Meanwhile, you can still get the last open source build from Picard's site. I believe there's one thing the commercial release does that the open source version doesn't do, but the open source version is better over all. TCPMP on a Zodiac is wonderful. The Zodiac was intended to be a handheld gaming device as well as PDA, so it has things like an ATI video chip with 2D acceleration and 8MB of video RAM. The Zodiac community took up a collection to get Picard a Zodiac to test on (and got enough to give him a couple of hundred dollars in donation, as well), and the result was a plugin for TCPMP that supports the Zodiac video.
