Re: getting rid of multiple consecutive blanks ?

I copy and paste from the web once o twice a week. 
WepPro allows you to select the whole page and paste in memo.

Once in memo I launch pEditTool get rid of the text I dont want (begining and end ) and perform a number of find-replace actions.


1. Multiple FL
  Simple find-replace action (no regexp). 
- Launch pEditTool find-replace 
- Edit text field; input two FL 
- go to replace text fiel; tipe one FL
- run the find replace as many times as you need

2. Unwanted characters (upper part high ascii code)
- regexp on 
- min match on
- TEXT FIELD:        [À-ÿ^]
- TEXT FIELD FOR REPLACEMENT EMPTY



3. My main problem is that division between paragraphs is lost. So that I need to insert LF in between.

- regexp on
- SEARCH TEXT:   (@0:\.|,)(@1:[A-z.])
- REPLACE TEXT: \0 [WHAT EVER NUMBER OF LINES YOU WHANT]\1

It is not perfect. *Usually* the separation between paragraphs is absolutly lost so there is no space between the dot (.) or comma (,) and the next ordinary character (from A to z in the ascii code). If that is the case one or two lines are inserted in between.



I have got those regexp as favorite text in my find-replace pEditTool configuration.
