   We can get rid of those, but I want to be sure they are true tabs,
i.e. ASCII 9, /p9. So, put the little pScript I sent you a while ago
in your pad, put the cursor so that the suspected tab is immediately
to its right, and run the e@ pScript. If it is a tab it will tell you
that "$1 var is 9". Let me know what the number is, 9 or other. Here
is the e@ pScript again.

{char value using e@::
/e@
/&varSet@[$1,$$]
/&varShow@[$1]}

   Maybe faster, otherwise shouldn't matter with these particular
scripts. The OS of the two are different as you know, and it does
matter with some aspects of pScripting, mainly related to the 5-way
navigation, but I don't think there is anything in the pScripts we're
working on now that should matter.

   Oh my goodness. For some reason I thought you have peditPro but
not pToolSet. If you have pToolSet and it is turned on, that
introduces lots of possibilites, including a couple of possible
problems. First the problems, then the goodies...

1) If you have never changed the ESC character for pedit, nor for
pMasterTool, and they are the same character ( ` ), that can cause
abnormal functioning, including it might generate the 'Ad' event
(although if it were that I'd think it would happen every time). At
any rate you should look at them both and if they are the same
character, change one of them. The pedit ESC is in pedit
menu/Options/Preferences/General, and the pMasterTool ESC is in
pMasterTool/menu/pMT1/pToolSet prefs second line from top (check the
checkbox "on").

2) Make sure that your peditPro and pToolSet are the same version.
pedit version is in pedit menu/Options/About pedit and pToolSet
version is in pMasterTool menu/pMT2/Version info. They should be the
same version - if not, update so they are, otherwise there can be
conflicts.

   Now, if you have pToolSet up and running, it will be an easy matter
to do a pScript that will move your memo (or any other text you might
wish) into a DateBk note. Let me know if you want to do that, and
also let me know if you know how to use the pToolSet module called
pScriptButtons, as that would make it a lot easier for you to run any
of your various pScripts.
