My path has been a sort of combo of you all. As is Paul, I'm a Mac guy and= do any true text editing (rarely needed for me now) there, but I've gone w= ith Android, as aside from pEdit and pToolSet my most important Palm tool w= as DateBk by CESDewar. CESD has as most of you know carried on in Android = in the form of Pimlical. I also miss the enthusiastic Palm and peditor community. I use my iPhone & iPad for consuming info; they are terrible for editing text. I use my Mac for everything else. I do half of the work with unix and half with the Mac GUI; it's the perfect environment. One small change in my life though: I no longer take my laptop on short trips. The iPad is sufficient and then I just catch up with work when I get home. My #1 wish: the iOS had a unix base just like the macOS.
