ot: Palm Desktop, synch, etc, reminiscing

my TX's battery started failing: it charges almost in an instant and discharges equally fast. have two or three other TXs and also T3s other TXs have digitizer alignment issues, T3s don't so, was thinking of duplicating TX data to a T3 don't really use WiFi on TX anymore - so maybe I should just use T3... anyone ever 'synched' two units ? TX and T3 ? synched TX to PDesktop, on a PC, copied address (single file) and datebook (single file) from TX to T3, synched T3, got events and contacts EXCEPT for categories next I'll try copying not single file but relevant sub dir also have on Palm the app that allows editing name/ID to have another device sync same user - not sure it's 'good idea' to hotsync TX and T3 to same user doing this on W10, TX over WiFi, T3 over bt, maybe should get XP for Palm? anyhow, if anyone has any thoughts...
