When I do a "cvs log" of the pdesk directory, I see the following
version tags:

RCS file: /cvsroot/pdesk/pdesk/CHANGELOG,v
Working file: CHANGELOG
head: 1.2
branch:
locks: strict
access list:
symbolic names:
         PDESK_0_8_5: 1.2
         PDESK_0_8_4: 1.2
         PDesk-Beta-12: 1.2
         PDesk-Beta-11: 1.2
         PDesk_1_Pre2: 1.2
         PDesk-Beta-4: 1.2
         initial: 1.1.1.1
         lb: 1.1.1

I wouldn't go by the web CVS interface; use a CVS client instead.
