That should not happen, it should always sync, people have wanted the
ability to have one overwrite the other, but it's not possible currently.

You have to add it to the sync, I can't remember the command right now,
but it should be reasonably easy to find now that you know you need it.

Make sure you don't have an empty project, that hangs up the sync.

Copying the backups should work, but, the conduit will sync the desktop
and the Palm.
However, it seems that sometimes with reasonably complex projects that the
conduit destroys the data. I don't know why, and don't have a repeat by so
I can fix it.
Anyway, I'm writing new conduit code as we speak that will use XML as the
disk format.
Even so, we are probably looking at 6 months out until we have something a
non-developer will feel comfortable with.

Well there is the main pdesk site pdesk.sourceforge.net, other than that
it's probably not documented yet.
