I think the Hotsync has a log, and perhaps the conduit keeps some sort of 
log. I do know that Progect keeps a log during a sync, but it's not 
available unless you have one of those programs that can read all the 
files on your Palm like Filez. The file is called lbPG-synclog (on your 
Palm).

The place to look for the empty project is on your Palm (FYI).

Otherwise I'm not quite sure what to say.

If you remove the PDesk conduit using the batch file in the installation 
directory, your sync should work normally AND the progect files will be 
saved to your backup directory, but they will not be merged with what was 
there before.

Given that that can be destructive to your data, that may not be that bad.
