It will be interesting in the future, because the biggest hassle is 
knowing what the binary format is.

Good question, probably enough :)

The PDesk/Progect website is using some heavyweight content management 
program in Python so it's not tiny. We don't have to use that, something 
lightweight is probably best.

I like Wiki's but we could even just use the existing SourceForge 
facilities for storing documentation.

Well I hope my example plugin for ToDo makes a believer out of you...

For HotSyncing, well that will be another problem entirely, but it's 
important, so once PalmDB is ready to go, I will want to tackle it.

I'm sure there are people, we have gotten a fair number of downloads.

I think the publicity will come once it's done.

The currently released library is kind of awkward.

Remember, the new *cool* code has not been released yet.

Once that hits the streets it should hopefully make a big bang.


Is Open Source Palm development dead? I dunno, I have always felt that 
unless it was something really *cool* that you would end up working on 
your own anyway. I guess I don't think anything has changed.

Either that, or you need a way to make it pay for your time.

I do it to make the world a better place, I have a job that pays well 
already, so the problem is sort of theoretical for me...

I use Emacs :), you'd think I was a diehard Unix type, but I'm not...

Emacs will use whatever you've got already, so since my files started out 
messed up, they have stayed messed up.

It's a problem, I know, it's just not the problem at the top of my list, 
and since I'm having to run too hard already, I can only tackle the big 
problems right now.
