PDesk - Progect hotsync hangs

I know that hotsyncing problems have been discussed in previous posts,
but the suggestions given there have not worked in my case. Hotsync
hangs when it starts to synchronize PDesk and Progect. Here are the
things I've tried:

- I've confirmed that none of my Progect files are corrupted or empty.
None of the titles have odd characters in them.

- I've uninstalled PDesk and have removed all of the Progect files
from my hard drive, then reinstalled PDesk and synced fresh with the
Palm. It will sync okay once or twice, then start hanging again. I've
been through this cycle several times, but I never seem to have more
than about two successful syncs before it begins hanging.

I'm using Progect 0.29 on a Palm Z22 with Palm OS 5.4.9.
I'm using PDesk 0.8.5 running under Windows XP Professional.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I've loved
using Progect (what a fantastic program), and would certainly like to
use PDesk with it as well--if I could just get it to work!
