It only works with files that use plain text format, not rich text format.

Save Treepad to CSV. I think it's either built-in or there is a utility for that, on treepad.com utilities section.

Next, use PDesk CSV plugin to import.

Either there is one treepad csv plugin in files section, or you can use the csv plugin from http://www.vscripts.net/pdesk-progect/
Once imported into PDesk, synch your Palm.

It works the other way, too. 

First please search for Treepad on this group. It shall give you more clue as for what to do, I remember there are few threads on it.

I wrote those plugins but I'm sorry I don't remember whether there are no problems or extra steps necessary, but I would be glad to help further with specific issues.
