new pdesk beta version install trouble

Hello,
 
I've just had a new and fresh computer, I'd like to install on it the latest version of pdesk.
I downloaded the installer from kwupg.org as said below.
 
Unfortunately I ran into the same problem as some others some time earlier :
" > Unable to execute file:
>
> D:\Program Files\PDesk\conduit\registerPDeskConduit.exe"
 
Is there a new version of the installer solving this issue ? (please note : I'm not installing pdesk under Program Files but on another directory)
 
If not, may I safely use installConduit.bat from a previous version ?

I am having trouble emailing the exe to a lot of the people who
volunteered.

I am also having trouble sending the file via dropload or yahoo groups.

So anwyay, I put it onto a website I run.
