As I'm running PDesk on Linux (Debian Etch to be precise), using the
current conduit isn't an option for me.  I'm using J-Pilot to sync my
Tungsten E with my desktop, edit the synced project files with PDesk
and then using pilot-xfer -i to transfer the edited files back to the
palm.  This is less than optimal workflow needless to say, so a Python
conduit would definitely get my vote.
