Newbie: help & unchecked todos

Hi, This looks like mostly developers, I hope you don't mind some newbie questions.

I've just installed Progect. When I create an action task with a todo link, and check the "done" box, it unchecks every time I close and reopen the project on my palm. This appears to be true whether or not I have "hide done tasks" checked: if hidden, it will uncheck and unhide upon opening/closing.

As far as I know, everything else is working.

Also: is there a manual or help pages anywhere? I can't find one.
