Hi there, thanks for your response.

Part of the problem is I haven't found very extensive documentation: 
actually, virtually none. Anyway, I had checked "Todo Link", which 
apparently makes some kind of link between the Palm Todo app, and 
Progect. When that's checked, apparently, one can't complete action 
tasks. Or at least that's the best I've been able to figure out. 
Anyway, unchecking it allows action tasks and "hide completed tasks" to 
work properly.

I think I'm going to really like this program, but even a little 
documentation (more than just the Progect ouline doc) would be very useful.
