MS did some weird stuff with Vista that prevents applications from
seeing some of their own data sometimes, or more to point.. some other
applications data (like Palm Desktop), so they broke a few things.
Historically I relied on the Catapult system for installers.

I worked a few weeks back on a new installer that should work
nicely on Vista, but I didn't have a chance to finalize it.

(I've got something on the go right now that has a very nasty
timeline, so I'm tied up with it until a few weeks from now, sadly.)

If you would bug me in a couple weeks, I will see about knocking
out the installer (at least an alpha for you to fiddle with), and then we
can see how it goes from there.

I also have some fixes for T|X users I'd like to bundle up.

Sadly my Palm-side has been on lower priority for awhile, as
theres just not much coming in the door from that side anymore :(
