I doubt it is size related (could be, but its not my style) .. I tend to over-estimate things like that, and the DB acess in Palm if not done 'evilly' generally alloows for 65000 records and so on without even thinking about it. Its more probably some ordering of records problem related to the deleted records or not; ie: Now you've got no deleted records and everythign is sorted nice and naturally, and no hidden data in any weird ways. If its all fragmented to hell I'm thinking Shadow is getting confused somewhere.
