Jeff,

Yes, Pimlical has been released as a pretty stable beta. I have been playing with it for several weeks.

No; Palm Desktop uses a format which makes it annoying; ie: I can
go into details but suffic tro say that the format changes slightly many
many times, and is highl discouraged to be written to directly. I think
the yhandled thoe files all the wrong way myself..

Anyway, as a result, most applications (mine included) go through
the handhelds (or emulators/simulator s) to get to the desktop.

# As you may know, CES Dewer has released Pimlicay, his new Java-based
# PIM application, and I am moving toward replacing my Palm T3 with my
# Vista-based Vaio UX handheld. At the same time I am now running a
# complex little project (writing/editing a bork) and want to use Shadow
# tostrack the progress of the chapters through the creation process.
# Hence my question.

Do you mean Pimlical?

Is that released on in 'preview'?
