Jeff,

Have you thought of rebuilding it in Java. That would give you greater flexibility in porting among different handhelds, although not all of them. Apparently the Pre doesn't run Java. The iPhone and Aodroid do. Not sure about the Blackberry. Of course Windows, Mac X, and Linux do, so it would cover all the desktops. Of course I am stealing this idea from CESD.

I have heard it works fine (and also in Classic on the Pre), but 
sadly I have neither of these devices. (It is tempting to get the N810, 
but I have enough gadgets ;) The Pre I'd like to get, but of course 
they're a right pain to acquire outside of the US, and of course don't 
work outside the US, and of course no SDK officially released yet...

There will almost certainly be a rebirth, but no clue as to where 
yet. It is a really strange and challenging time in mobiles, for sure.
