Cannot register Shadow Desk on Windows 7

I have just migrated to Windows 7 and cannot register the Shadow desktop. I have gone so far as to re-enter the original registration code on the Handheld, HotSync, then enter the desktop upgrade code on the handheld, then Hotsync again. All to no avail. Some other options I need to consider?: Run in XP Mode (would prefer not) get registration file from Jeff to put on computer Help?
