I too am using Toodledo, though mostly the Android GotToDo which serves as a handheld version of it (maybe that is what you are using as well?). As you point out, the limited nesting is a real issue for me also, as is lack of any functional tags (they can be put in, but without any real order and no sorting or filtering or other structured use of them, at least in the current versions (and changes have been slow coming since I started using it this past summer). I subscribed to the Pro version (yearly charge) in order to get subtasks.

I am quite interested if anyone has other ideas or experiences, as I haven't really replaced ShadowPlan either, to my detriment. I use Note Everything as a memo organizer, and it does have some nice features such as checklist notes, to do some of the missing features.
