I did see your mail, and went to the link to the Faq you gave in it. As I
already had the full install executable I just followed the advice there to
remove PP post install. Unfortunately even though I've tried clearing out
all the news* files from ram as well as the main prc file, each time I
re-install it's still got the NULL string problem. Yanoff- is working ok
though and I'm able to reply to posts again, so I'll go with that until I
can work out what I'm failing to remove that is affecting the yanoff+
re-install. I'd only been playing with the gpl version for a day or so and I
hadn't bothered backing up, as I'm still at the experimental stage. 

It's great to be able to post to usenet and read replies on the move though,
and having had a brief taster of the full program, I'm wanting that extra
functionality, so I want to persevere and get this issue resolved.

Do you have a list of all the files which need removing for a completely
clean re-install?
