The GPL source will remain open for this kind of development...

The new closed branch is open for this kind of help but not for this
release.
We are in the very, very, very, VERY final stage of beta and expect a
release in mere days!

Those are not Palm newsreaders are they?

Why?  I don't plan on supporting MIME ever other than to strip it out.  MIME
is, for the most part, esepecially on a mostly plain-text platform, nothing
but wasteful bloat.  Especially for the creation/posting case.  What
possible use could an article created on the Palm make of MIME?

If things go well, that is likely the big (and/or Hi-Res) feature for the
next release.
